Making My Own Soap

Good Morning All,
I am going to attempt to make my own soap. I will be making laundry soap and an all purpose castille soap. Castille soap can be used as is or as a base for many soaps including shampoo, hand soap, bubble bath, body wash and even dish soap. My reason for trying this is my wonderful Aunt Jodi made her own laundry soap for less than $10 and got more than 3 gallons! She also told me it is a great soap and works amazingly! It is useable in front load high efficiency washers and top loaders as well. I am very excited to try this and will keep everyone posted about how it goes.
